This high-impact leadership role is ideal for an experienced accounting executive who thrives in a complex, multi-entity environment and enjoys building scalable processes within a fast-paced, acquisitive organization. The Regional Controller will oversee all regional accounting operations across a multi-location footprint, managing a team of 16 direct and indirect reports. This leader will be responsible for driving accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across financial reporting, operational accounting, and internal controls while supporting continued expansion through acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to join an established platform experiencing significant growth and operational transformation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and develop a multi-location accounting team, providing vision, oversight, and mentorship
  • Oversee all regional accounting functions including AP, AR, inventory, fixed assets, month-end close, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage accounting operations across 12+ markets and 40–45 business units, supporting ~$600M in revenue
  • Drive standardization, automation, and process improvement across accounting workflows
  • Partner with corporate and operational leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Support integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, ensuring accurate and timely onboarding into accounting systems
  • Maintain strong internal controls and support audit requirements
  • Lead or participate in special projects related to systems, process enhancements, and scalability initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Active CPA required
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a similar multi-site controller leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing $100M+ in revenue across 20+ sites
  • Proven success leading multi-location teams within a complex organizational structure
  • Strong supervisory experience
  • ability to effectively manage and develop 16+ direct/indirect reports
  • Hands-on operational accounting experience (inventory, fixed assets, AP, AR)
