Job Description

Regional Business Manager About the Company: Our client, Henry Schein One, is a global dental technology company delivering practice management software and digital solutions to more than 100,000 dental practices worldwide. The organisation combines deep healthcare expertise with advanced technology to support dental professionals in running more efficient and profitable practices. Their product suite includes market-leading platforms alongside a range of digital solutions designed to improve patient engagement, practice efficiency and business performance. Henry Schein One holds dominant market share across New Zealand and is now focused on transitioning their loyal client base onto the next generation of cloud-based technology as well as engaging new practices. They are looking for a Regional Business Manager to lead that charge. About the Role: As Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by engaging dental practices across your territory. The majority of your opportunity sits within Henry Schein One's existing client base; practices that are loyal to the brand but yet to transition to the new cloud platform. You will work closely with practice owners and managers to understand their current setup, build genuine trust, and guide them through a meaningful change in how they run their business. This is a fully remote role and we are open to candidates based anywhere in New Zealand. Some national travel will be involved as you build and maintain relationships across your territory. Head office is Auckland Based. You don't need to come from a dental background. What matters is your ability to sell on outcomes, handle volume, and build the kind of relationships where you know your clients' inside and out. If you're a hunter who thrives on momentum and loves being in front of people, this is your role. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and convert opportunities within an established client base and greenfield territory, driving growth across your region. Consultative Sales: Conduct in-depth discovery with practice owners to understand their current operations and position the new platform as the natural next step. Relationship Management: Build deep, trusted relationships within the dental ecosystem, leveraging the Henry Schein dental rep network to generate and convert leads. Sales Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, referrals, and partner relationships. Customer Engagement: Lead demonstrations, presentations, and consultations to showcase the value of the software platform. Territory Development: Develop strong local knowledge and cultural understanding of your market, whether Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Hamilton. Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and the evolving needs of dental practices. CRM and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and forecasting through CRM systems. About You: We are looking for sales professionals who demonstrate the following: Proven Sales Performance: Demonstrated success in B2B sales with a strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding targets. Hunter Mentality: Highly proactive, self-generating, and motivated by volume and momentum. You determine how you win. Consultative Approach: Comfortable having meaningful business conversations with practice owners, understanding their challenges, and positioning technology as a solution. Challenger Mindset: You understand what it means to challenge a customer's thinking, ask uncomfortable questions, and push the conversation forward. Relationship Builder: Skilled at building genuine, lasting trust with clients. High EQ, great with people, and comfortable being on the road. Resilience and Drive: Competitive and self-motivated with the capacity to handle a high volume of activity in a fast-moving environment. Comfortable with Ambiguity: You can sit in discomfort, back yourself in challenging conversations, and stay composed under pressure. What's in it for You? Competitive package: Generous base + car allowance + uncapped commission Fully remote role – work from anywhere in New Zealand Join a global market leader with a highly established product portfolio and strong industry reputation A warm pipeline with genuine lead support Work in a high-impact role where you directly influence business growth Opportunity to develop expertise in healthcare technology and cloud-based SaaS Supportive leadership and a collaborative team environment focused on long-term success Well-rounded benefits including wellbeing allowances, extra leave (birthday, parental, volunteer), health and dental discounts, and global career growth opportunities Culture: Henry Schein One fosters a culture centred on customer success, innovation, and collaboration. The team values open communication, diversity of thought, and shared success. Leadership is engaged and invested, this is a business where you'll be supported, not left to figure it out alone. If you're a driven sales professional who enjoys building real relationships and helping businesses modernise, we'd love to hear from you.
