Our client, a global leader in premium packaged food products, is seeking a Regional Business Manager – West to drive growth across key Albertsons divisions and regional grocery customers throughout the Western U.S. This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales leader who thrives on building relationships, expanding distribution, and delivering profitable growth across a dynamic and evolving product portfolio. This position sits on a lean, high-impact sales team focused on driving strong retail execution, developing new opportunities, and strengthening existing customer partnerships across the region.
Job Responsibility:
Grow sales, profit, and market share across Albertsons divisions (NorCal, SoCal, Intermountain, Seattle) and key regional customers including Stater Bros. and WinCo
Build distribution, expand shelf presence, and drive strong retail execution across core grocery categories
Lead joint business planning with retail partners and broker teams
Manage pricing, promotions, and trade investment to support volume and margin targets
Identify and develop new profitable business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships
Use syndicated and POS data to develop insight-driven selling stories
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to support launches and promotional activity
Support forecasting and regional planning to ensure strong execution across accounts
Requirements:
7+ years of CPG sales experience within grocery or center store categories
Proven ability to operate as both a “hunter and farmer,” driving new business while growing existing accounts
Experience working with West Coast grocery retailers
Albertsons divisions strongly preferred
Strong customer-facing presence with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
Experience working with broker partners preferred
Analytical mindset with experience leveraging syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen)
Residence in the Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred
