Our client, a global leader in premium packaged food products, is seeking a Regional Business Manager – West to drive growth across key Albertsons divisions and regional grocery customers throughout the Western U.S. This role is ideal for a commercially minded sales leader who thrives on building relationships, expanding distribution, and delivering profitable growth across a dynamic and evolving product portfolio. This position sits on a lean, high-impact sales team focused on driving strong retail execution, developing new opportunities, and strengthening existing customer partnerships across the region.

Job Responsibility

  • Grow sales, profit, and market share across Albertsons divisions (NorCal, SoCal, Intermountain, Seattle) and key regional customers including Stater Bros. and WinCo
  • Build distribution, expand shelf presence, and drive strong retail execution across core grocery categories
  • Lead joint business planning with retail partners and broker teams
  • Manage pricing, promotions, and trade investment to support volume and margin targets
  • Identify and develop new profitable business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships
  • Use syndicated and POS data to develop insight-driven selling stories
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, Supply Chain, and Finance to support launches and promotional activity
  • Support forecasting and regional planning to ensure strong execution across accounts

Requirements

  • 7+ years of CPG sales experience within grocery or center store categories
  • Proven ability to operate as both a “hunter and farmer,” driving new business while growing existing accounts
  • Experience working with West Coast grocery retailers
  • Albertsons divisions strongly preferred
  • Strong customer-facing presence with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with broker partners preferred
  • Analytical mindset with experience leveraging syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen)
  • Residence in the Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred
