Randstad has recently partnered with a global leader from the UK in providing digital radio systems. They are currently expanding their sales team in Malaysia. They are looking to hire a Regional Business Development Manager to cover the South East Asia region.
Job Responsibility:
Identify and develop new markets, verticals, and opportunities in new countries
Manage regional partners and existing accounts within the Southeast Asia critical communications industry
Nurture long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and account growth
Create comprehensive account plans that map key players, assess expansion possibilities, and align with the organisation's business priorities
Drive sales through new and existing partners to increase recurring revenue and renewals in Southeast Asia
Respond to tenders and requests for information from partners and end users
Protect margins and clarify product value by managing potential channel conflicts
Requirements:
A degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunication) or an equivalent qualification
At least 10 years of sales experience in LMR (Land Mobile Radio) or telecommunications environments, covering telecommunication and government sectors
Open to consider candidates with sales experience selling 4G/5G solutions or from the IT distributor environment
Regional sales experience involving large regional systems integrator
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to present sales strategies to high-level management
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Willingness to travel regionally in Southeast Asia approximately 50% of the time, including occasional travel to the UK
