Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Assistant Brand Manager to lead brand strategy, marketing execution, and commercial performance for a regional portfolio. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping brand equity, launching innovations, and driving sustainable growth across Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of regional campaigns and product initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and execution of brand strategies and annual marketing plans
  • Deliver effective 360° campaigns across ATL, BTL, and digital platforms to drive consumer engagement
  • Manage New Product Development (NPD) and portfolio innovation, including launch strategies and go-to-market execution
  • Analyze market and consumer data to generate actionable insights and strategic growth recommendations
  • Oversee A&P budget allocation and track ROI to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (regulatory, trade marketing, supply chain) to align on regional initiatives
  • Lead external relationships with creative, media, and P.R. agencies to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Monitor brand performance, generate business reviews, and prepare post-mortem reports for continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field
  • 3–5 years of brand management experience in the FMCG sector
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience in data-driven brand strategy and execution
  • Proven track record in leading successful brand campaigns and new product launches
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and agency management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Passionate about brand building with a proactive and resourceful mindset
