Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Regional Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions while ensuring compliance with financial standards and practices. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in month-end processes, reconciliations, and branch-level financial support.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Provide comprehensive financial and accounting support to assigned regions, both during and outside of month-end processes
  • Safeguard confidential financial data by maintaining discretion and adhering to compliance standards
  • Collaborate with branch operations teams to conduct audits, ensure regional compliance, and address financial inquiries
  • Process financial transactions promptly and accurately, identifying and resolving potential issues effectively
  • Manage and maintain purchase card logs to ensure approval and compliance with audit requirements
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to financial regulations while supporting organizational compliance initiatives
  • Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned to support operational needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience with month-end close processes and general ledger management
  • Strong ability to prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts with attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of bank reconciliation procedures and financial compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with handling purchase card logs and audit-related processes
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with branch operations and regional teams
  • High level of discretion when working with sensitive financial data
  • Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently
