Job Description

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), is responsible for providing overall sales leadership of Account Executives, Sales Associates, Clinical Solutions Account Managers, and Sr Clinical Managers to drive profitable revenue and market share growth in assigned geographical regions/territories, across all product segments in Capital, Rental and Service. Typical annual revenue will range from approximately $35M to $55M.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and communicate quarterly and annual sales strategies and plans
  • Define individual and market specific sales goals
  • Track/report overall progress of sales team against targets
  • Weekly implementation and monitoring of project tracking/forecasting via CRM
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members
  • Perform regular field travel to mentor team and understand customer needs
  • Complete planning, forecasting, setting objectives
  • Assess sales activity for trends and competitor activity
  • Work with business support and other sales teams
  • Support action plans for demand fulfillment and creation
  • Cultivate relationship between capital sales, therapy rental and service personnel
  • Meet with customers to develop relationships and understand needs
  • Build and manage relationships with major hospital systems, IDN’s
  • Develop, train, and implement pricing guidance
  • Provide day to day leadership of area sales team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in sales
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Acute Care/Hospital capital equipment space
  • Additional experience with Acute Care rental therapy products ideal
  • Previous people leadership experience preferred
