Job Description:

Responsible for guiding the implementation and sustainability of the Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) processes, as well as the related data collection and analysis software and processes for manufacturing facilities within a region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Guiding the implementation and sustainability of the Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) processes and related software
  • Supports initial implementation and ongoing sustainability of BIC activities in the region
  • Equips plant and department management to use BIC tools
  • Advises management on staffing levels and qualifications for BIC activities
  • Assists in professional development of region and plant BIC personnel
  • Develops and implements training scenarios for BIC skills
  • Provides training support for local trainers
  • Contributes to linear program optimization models
  • Develops region's strategic plans
  • Leads regular BIC audits
  • Locates, deploys, and supervises external consulting resources

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience in related in job function
  • Must have at least seven (7) years combined experience in both line and staff manufacturing positions
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to comprehend mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems with operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of industrial costs and their control
