Responsible for guiding the implementation and sustainability of the Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) processes, as well as the related data collection and analysis software and processes for manufacturing facilities within a region.
Job Responsibility:
Guiding the implementation and sustainability of the Boise Improvement Cycle (BIC) processes and related software
Supports initial implementation and ongoing sustainability of BIC activities in the region
Equips plant and department management to use BIC tools
Advises management on staffing levels and qualifications for BIC activities
Assists in professional development of region and plant BIC personnel
Develops and implements training scenarios for BIC skills
Provides training support for local trainers
Contributes to linear program optimization models
Develops region's strategic plans
Leads regular BIC audits
Locates, deploys, and supervises external consulting resources
Requirements:
College degree or equivalent work experience in related in job function
Must have at least seven (7) years combined experience in both line and staff manufacturing positions
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Ability to comprehend mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems with operations
Knowledge and understanding of industrial costs and their control
Ability to contribute to both strategic long term and tactical implementation activities
