Job Description:

We are looking for two Refurbishment and Distribution Operatives to join our growing equipment refurbishment team! Gloucestershire Equipment Loan Service (GELS) has two full-time vacancies for Refurbishment and Distribution Operatives at its Mitcheldean site. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, supportive team and make a real difference to people across Gloucestershire. The main responsibilities of this role involve the refurbishment, processing, packing and distribution of healthcare goods and equipment.

Job Responsibility:

Unloading medical equipment for refurbishment from vans
Operating machinery to sanitise scrap items
Loading & unloading of equipment through the refurbishment process
Using a scanner to move items to their correct locations on internal systems
Ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to when undertaking the role
The routine renovation of products in compliance with the manufacturer’s instructions
Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns to the Team Leader

Requirements:

Experience working in a production or warehouse environment
Experience of production/warehouse processes and procedures
Experience working in a team
Ability to work independently
Focus on quality
Positive, can-do attitude
Friendly and outgoing with good communication skills
Details of English and Maths GCSE qualifications (or equivalent)
Right to work that enables commitment to at least 6 months employment
