Refugee Cash and Medical Assistance Case Manager

• Provide temporary financial assistance to ORR-eligible individuals and empower clients toward economic self-sufficiency
• Screen clients for eligibility and enroll clients in the RCA Program
• Monitor compliance and issue payments for monthly allowances
• Lead the client relationship
• Issue monthly cash assistance payments and document all transactions
• Complete referrals to employment providers for RCA recipients and monitor participation with employment providers
• Monitor and evaluate client progress and program compliance
• Complete all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funding requirements and agency quality assurance standards
• Prepare and maintain detailed case files, required forms, and reports
• Enter all required information into the database promptly
• Advocate for clients with service providers or agencies and in the community
• Screen clients for eligibility into the RMA Program and provide application assistance
• Complete referrals to service providers for RMA recipients
• Represent Gii’s core values and mission in the office, with clients, and throughout the community

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR a combination of education and experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish Required
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Working knowledge of computers, including Excel, Word, and MS Office
• Familiarity with refugee populations and their needs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor, with the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
