HVAC-R Journeymen License
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
OSHA 30
In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to refrigeration systems

Job Responsibility

Lead a team of refrigeration technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance
Plan and schedule daily tasks, maintenance activities, and repair work for the refrigeration team
Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of various refrigeration systems
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance departments to develop preventive maintenance schedules
Conduct regular inspections of refrigeration equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose complex refrigeration system problems
Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment maintenance schedules, and inventory
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
Provide technical training and mentorship to refrigeration technicians
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-efficient practices

3-5 years’ Construction Superintendent experience is preferred
Comprehensive understanding of plans, specifications, and building codes
Computer Skills – Email, Daily Reports, Timecards, Microsoft Office, Scheduling Software
Experience operating Fork/Boom/Scissor Lift
Effective and professional communication and interaction with supervisors, employees, and others
Adherence to safety protocols and the ability to follow oral and written instructions
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
First Aid, CPR, and Respirator Training
Previous experience in Grocery Store projects with high level of Mechanical and Refrigeration systems is required

Job Responsibility

Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to create detailed short interval project schedules and plans
Organize and coordinate resources, materials, and subcontractors to meet project milestones
Regularly participate in the Owner, Architect, and Contractor meetings
On-Site Supervision: Oversee and direct construction activities on the site
Manage and supervise a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel
Provide guidance and support to the workforce
Safety and Quality Control: Communicates expectations, enforces policies, and completes/submits records
Develops/modifies JHA’s for the project and provides JHA training
Identifies needs for training and communicates with the Safety Team
