Job Description:

We are looking for a Refrigeration Specialist to join a rapidly expanding startup company that acts as a predictive AI layer for the cooling industry. This technology analyzes real-time data to identify potential issues with grocery store refrigeration units. We are seeking an industry expert to bridge the gap between complex data and actionable maintenance reports.

Job Responsibility:

  • Use internal tooling to review detections from AI models, investigating anomalous behavior and confirming technical issues remotely
  • Translate complex data plots and traces into simple, clear reports for facilities
  • Collaborate regularly with the Data Science team to provide 'ground truth' feedback and improve AI detection accuracy
  • Serve as the technical authority on customer calls to explain refrigeration concepts and help clients reach their maintenance goals

Requirements:

  • Deep experience with grocery rack refrigeration systems (HFC and CO2) is highly preferred
  • Hands-on experience navigating and extracting data from controllers
  • Ability to identify mechanical issues by looking at data traces and plots remotely rather than relying on physical on-site inspections
  • Ideally 5-7+ years in the industry, though we prioritize high-level technical knowledge and controller diversity over a specific year count

Nice to have:

Experience with Ammonia systems or basic knowledge of SQL/Data Visualization

What we offer:
  • Medical coverage
  • 401K
  • Employee stock options
  • Fully remote opportunity with no on-call schedule
  • Unlimited PTO policy
  • 2 weeks/year company wide time off
