Job Description:

This Field Service Technician opportunity in air treatment and dehumidification, within a specialized industry leader. Based in Montreal, this permanent position offers a competitive annual salary with a flexible Monday-to-Friday day schedule. You will become the go-to technical expert for the commissioning and maintenance of high-end HVAC equipment. You will tackle technical challenges while traveling across Quebec and occasionally throughout United States.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle the startup (commissioning), complex repairs, and preventive maintenance of dehumidification systems directly at client sites across Canada and the United States
  • Perform meticulous equipment inspections to make necessary mechanical adjustments and replace defective or worn components
  • Conduct rigorous performance tests using specialized tools to optimize the operational parameters of air treatment systems
  • Prepare detailed operational data reports via a dedicated digital platform
  • Act as a technical instructor for clients' maintenance staff, ensuring the optimal use of our cutting-edge technologies
  • Resolve on-site technical challenges while maintaining fluid communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems and controls, or an equivalent combination of specialized technical training
  • Necessary certifications and licenses as a Refrigeration Mechanic or in refrigeration systems
  • In-depth understanding of heat transfer and psychrometric principles applied to commercial air conditioning products
  • High availability for frequent travel
  • Proficiency in both English and French
  • Highly autonomous, possess exemplary organizational skills, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Necessary documentation/eligibility to travel between Canada and the U.S.
