This Field Service Technician opportunity in air treatment and dehumidification, within a specialized industry leader. Based in Montreal, this permanent position offers a competitive annual salary with a flexible Monday-to-Friday day schedule. You will become the go-to technical expert for the commissioning and maintenance of high-end HVAC equipment. You will tackle technical challenges while traveling across Quebec and occasionally throughout United States.
Job Responsibility:
Handle the startup (commissioning), complex repairs, and preventive maintenance of dehumidification systems directly at client sites across Canada and the United States
Perform meticulous equipment inspections to make necessary mechanical adjustments and replace defective or worn components
Conduct rigorous performance tests using specialized tools to optimize the operational parameters of air treatment systems
Prepare detailed operational data reports via a dedicated digital platform
Act as a technical instructor for clients' maintenance staff, ensuring the optimal use of our cutting-edge technologies
Resolve on-site technical challenges while maintaining fluid communication with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC systems and controls, or an equivalent combination of specialized technical training
Necessary certifications and licenses as a Refrigeration Mechanic or in refrigeration systems
In-depth understanding of heat transfer and psychrometric principles applied to commercial air conditioning products
High availability for frequent travel
Proficiency in both English and French
Highly autonomous, possess exemplary organizational skills, and have the ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Necessary documentation/eligibility to travel between Canada and the U.S.
