Job Description

I am working with a highly respected industrial refrigeration specialist supporting major food manufacturing and industrial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to their engineering team. This is a field-based role with a long-established business known for long serving staff, deep technical expertise, and a genuinely supportive, engineer led culture. The Refrigeration Engineer will be working on large scale industrial and heavy commercial refrigeration systems, primarily within food manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Service, maintenance, fault finding, and support of large-scale industrial refrigeration systems
  • Service, breakdown, maintenance, and installation work
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK
  • Working on industrial and heavy commercial refrigeration systems
  • Working primarily within food manufacturing and FMCG environments
  • Supporting major food production sites
  • Team based installation and service projects
  • Collaboration with in house fabrication and coded welding teams

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience as an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer
  • Strong background in industrial or heavy commercial refrigeration
  • Experience working within food production, FMCG, or industrial environments
  • Confident working with ammonia-based systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willing to travel and stay away when required
