Job Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Technician to join our team of professionals who take pride in delivering top-quality service. We are seeking a committed Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Technician for the Southern & Midlands region. This is a hands-on, day based maintenance role working with catering and refrigeration equipment, plus general maintenance for Southern & Midlands area. The Refrigeration/Catering equipment Technician will be responsible for the repair and upkeep of all our equipment on an ongoing basis. If you have a strong background in commercial refrigeration, this is an excellent opportunity to join a like-minded Team focused on professional growth and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Trouble shooting and problem solving of Catering & Refrigeration equipment
  • Repair and maintenance of various catering equipment including fridges, freezers, ice-cream machines and cold displays etc
  • Install & Service of refrigeration & catering equipment
  • Commitment to completing jobs fully
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all Catering equipment
  • Inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary
  • Must abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise
  • Maintaining strong standards, working with the Service Manager and Store Managers
  • Working with fellow management and staff to build positive interpersonal relationships and motivate with personal contact
  • Travel and emergency response to breakdowns

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Good working knowledge of refrigeration and catering equipment, servicing and maintenance
  • Full clean driving license
  • Strong background in commercial refrigeration
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Accurate record keeping and logs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Hands-on person with a proven track record
  • Flexible and able to work on all various catering equipment
  • Committed individual with extensive experience in the field of catering equipment
