Job Description:

The Refreshment Installation Technician at American Food & Vending installs, repairs, and delivers vending machines, beverage dispensers, and coffee equipment to assigned locations, driving a company vehicle locally.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install and deliver vending, refreshment, water, and coffee equipment
  • Work with the service team to ensure timely deliveries and installations
  • Connect water and electrical lines, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, diagnostics, and adjustments on machines
  • Transport equipment to the warehouse for maintenance or inspection as needed
  • May assist with special projects, new account openings, and other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant industry experience in delivery, installation, and machine maintenance
  • Working knowledge of mechanics, plumbing, electrical systems, and use of hand tools
  • Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and performing physical activities such as lifting, bending, walking, driving, and climbing stairs
  • Holds a valid state driver's license in good standing

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating machine components such as pressure gauges and thermostats

  • Manage parts inventory, place orders for necessary repair components, and maintain accurate service documentation and maintenance logs
