Job Description:

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Refinery Operator to operate an automated and modern plant control system to produce quality oil, in specification to meet our customer’s delivery requirements. This role requires the ability to work on a rotating shift (Day/Night).

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate an automated and modern plant control system to produce quality oil, in specification to meet customer’s delivery requirements
  • Operating automated control systems
  • Accountable for trouble-shoot operational issues
  • Assist with reliability investigations

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Previous Refinery experience (highly desirable)
  • A Trade Certificate (eg Mechanical Fitting or Electrical) or other relevant qualification is highly desirable
  • Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (SAP is an advantage)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Forklift licence is highly desirable
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
  • A current, valid driver’s licence

Nice to have:

  • Previous Refinery experience
  • A Trade Certificate (eg Mechanical Fitting or Electrical) or other relevant qualification
  • SAP knowledge
  • Forklift licence
