We are looking for a Referral and Allocation Co-ordinator to join the Cranstoun Worcestershire drug and alcohol treatment service. Cranstoun Worcestershire delivers services across the county, working with partners to support individuals affected by drug and alcohol use. This is a key role at the front door of the service, combining operational coordination with leadership responsibility to ensure people can access support quickly and effectively.
Job Responsibility
Oversee referral and allocation processes across the service
Ensure timely assessment, prioritisation and allocation to the right teams
Manage demand, monitor referral volumes, and work with operational leads to address pressures and maintain a consistent flow into treatment
Take a lead role in supporting colleagues to improve decision-making at the point of referral
Promote high standards of practice, consistency, and accuracy in recording and allocation processes
Contribute to service improvement by reviewing pathways, identifying trends, and working with partners to enhance referral quality
Requirements
Experience in health and social care
Experience of managing and coordinating a high-volume referral system or similar core service pathway
