Job Description:

We are looking for a Reef Café Attendant that will provide guests with excellent customer and provide guests their food or beverage choices. The Reef Café is a quick service, food establishment within the Aquarium. Reef Café attendants will make coffee, take and prepare customer orders according to guest preferences. It is our mission to ensure that our guests are provided with the best possible experience at the Reef Café. Everyone who visits us should be treated with the spirit of Aloha, and we are looking for positive, professional people to make that happen!

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome guests and take their orders
  • Use a POS system to log orders and process payments – both cash and credit card transactions
  • Operate coffee machines and other equipment at the Reef Café
  • Ensure food and other ingredients are fresh and stocked
  • Maintain cleanliness and work environment by cleaning surfaces and equipment regularly
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude

Requirements:

  • Strong team player with great communication skills
  • Organized with a great attention to detail
  • Current TB Health Card
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and during evening events
