As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking skilled Red Seal Millwrights (Industrial Mechanics) to join growing industrial and manufacturing teams across the Lower Mainland, BC. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment by installing, maintaining, and repairing complex industrial machinery and mechanical systems. You will collaborate with maintenance teams, engineers, and operations staff to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime. Job Responsibility:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective corrective solutions
Align, calibrate, and adjust machinery components to maintain optimal performance
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to support equipment maintenance and installation
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential failure points
Perform mechanical repairs including rigging, welding, fabrication, and equipment alignment when required
Collaborate with electrical and maintenance teams to support plant operations
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company procedures, and industry regulations
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment condition
Requirements:
Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification
Demonstrated experience performing maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Legally eligible to work full-time in British Columbia
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
High attention to detail and strong commitment to workplace safety
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice to have:
Experience with CNC equipment, automated production systems, welding, rigging, fabrication, or PLC troubleshooting
Familiarity with automated equipment, conveyors, pumps, compressors, and rotating machinery
