Job Description

Our client, a leading professional services organization, is in need of a Red Hat OpenShift Engineer for an initial 6 month full remote contract. The Red Hat OpenShift Engineer would be responsible for supporting the design / deployment of Red Hat OpenShift onto Nutanix as our customers has a steadily growing pipeline of these requests. They would also be responsible for attending customer ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban), document and build CI / CD pipelines, document and build Infrastructure as Code, and work with Docker and Kubernetes to create and schedule containers for deployments.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting the design / deployment of Red Hat OpenShift onto Nutanix
  • Attending customer ceremonies (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Document and build CI / CD pipelines
  • Document and build Infrastructure as Code
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes to create and schedule containers for deployments

Requirements

  • At least 5 – 7 years of experience supporting the design and deployment of Red Hat OpenShift
  • Experience deploying Red Hat OpenShift onto Nutanix
  • Experience supporting Nutanix AOS (Acropolis Operating System) and AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor)
  • Experience managing continuous integration systems with Jenkins, Hudson, etc.
  • Experience using automated config and deployment tools like Puppet, Chef, SaltStack, etc.
  • Experience deploying Red Hat OpenShift in either a Linux or Windows environment
  • Python, Ruby and / or GO scripting experience
