This is your chance to protect the environment, reduce waste, and support meaningful work opportunities for people with disability. For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to transition into permanent employment. About the Role: You’ll help customers recycle correctly, keep the site safe and tidy, and make sure materials are reused or disposed of responsibly. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working in hot conditions. Flexibility is required, including weekend shifts, weekday shifts, and ad hoc relief work as needed. Job Responsibility:

  • Assist customers to unload and recycle materials safely
  • Sort and stack items for reuse, recycling, or safe disposal
  • Inspect loads and guide drivers to the right areas
  • Keep the site clean, safe, and welcoming

Requirements:

  • Passion for recycling and sustainability

  • Licence and reliable transport

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
