Job Responsibility

Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
Monitor operating supplies and reduce spoilage and wastages.
Ensure cleaning activities of all dishware and cutlery, glasses and wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils according to performance standards.
Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, constantly checking if any items need to be re-scrubbed and re-washed.
Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue.
Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware.
Ensure that clean wares are stored in appropriate areas and dispose of glass in the proper containers, following all the quality procedures.
Wash and disinfect kitchen and other department areas, tables, tools, knives, bins and equipments.
Support warehouse activities such as receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly and rotating stock.
Maintain proper storage and use of used chemicals and detergents.
