This a hands-on recruitment role, responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for Care Professionals within the domiciliary care service. Working closely with the management team, you will ensure the organisation consistently attracts, selects and onboard compassionate and reliable care staff. Success within the role will involve maintaining sufficient recruitment activity to support the organisation’s growth, including achieving a net gain of approximately four new carers per month.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the full recruitment process from attraction through to onboarding
Creating and managing job adverts across job boards and social media
Screening applicants and conducting interviews
Ensuring safe recruitment compliance including DBS checks, Right to Work checks, references and employment history verification
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of potential Care Professionals
Supporting recruitment campaigns and community attraction initiatives
Attending recruitment events where required
Participating in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 6 weeks) which includes one evening per week and occasional weekend cover
Requirements:
Previous end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally within health or social care
Strong understanding of safe recruitment and compliance processes
Experience creating and managing job adverts and recruitment campaigns
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Passion for recruiting individuals who deliver high-quality care
Must be able to drive to support on-call responsibilities
