Job Description

The Recruitment Representative supports undergraduate student recruitment initiatives for the College of Arts and Sciences. This is a 12-month term appointment focused on outreach, engagement, and recruitment strategy implementation.

Job Responsibility

  • Supports undergraduate student recruitment initiatives for the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Responsible for implementing an effective student recruitment strategy for undergraduate programs within the K‑State College of Arts and Sciences, supporting the university’s broader strategic enrollment management goals
  • Collaborates as part of a team to design new initiatives and enhance existing recruitment efforts, ensuring high‑quality service to both prospective and admitted students

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and five years of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of work experience and education.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field and one year of relevant experience
  • Understanding and knowledge of the mission of the College of Arts & Sciences, its programs and the programs offered at Kansas State University
  • Knowledge of university setting, policies, procedures, and branding
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to engage with others of a wide array of experiences and backgrounds
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Qualtrics or MS Forms
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a part of a team that strategizes and coordinates together
