This newly created, pivotal role supports rapid growth in the healthcare staffing industry by combining hands-on recruiting with team leadership. The Recruitment Operations Manager will act as a player-coach; building / managing their own candidate pipelines while managing and optimizing a high-performing recruitment team of 10+ recruiters. This position focuses on streamlining recruitment operations, enhancing metrics and analytics, and driving continuous process improvements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage a team of recruiters, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance oversight
  • Maintain an active recruiting role, owning a “book of business” alongside leadership responsibilities
  • Oversee and optimize recruitment operations processes with a focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Administer and enhance utilization of Applicant Tracking System, ensuring smooth workflows and adoption
  • Develop and implement recruiting KPIs and dashboards to measure / optimize team and process effectiveness (time-to-fill, candidate experience, pipeline health, etc.)
  • Partner with leadership to set recruitment priorities aligned with growth plans
  • Develop / Manage relationships
  • supporting collaborative sourcing strategies
  • Support recruitment compliance initiatives
  • Travel to corporate offices heavily during on-boarding (3 days per week), tapering to less frequent visits thereafter

Requirements:

  • Accomplished recruiter with at least 4+ years managing and leading recruitment team(s) of 10+
  • Strong hands-on experience in healthcare staffing recruitment environments
  • Proven expertise with ATS platforms, with a passion for optimizing recruitment technology and workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic operations management with direct recruiting accountability
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in KPI development, analytics, and reporting
  • Strong coach and leader able to develop talent and elevate team performance
  • Comfortable working fully remote with initial frequent travel, then for team and leadership meetings
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to interface effectively with senior leadership
  • A mix of professional and modern, approachable communication style aligned with a growth-focused organization
