Job Description

As a Recruitment Officer at The Protocol Group (part of the Affinity Workforce Solutions Group), you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting recruitment across a dynamic Further Education College. You’ll engage with hiring managers, helping to source top talent and ensure a seamless recruitment experience from start to finish. Supported by the Account Manager, you will work collaboratively with each other and the college to deliver first-class recruitment services across both academic and non-academic roles.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage with hiring managers and course-leaders to provide solutions-focused recruitment support across both academic and non-academic roles across the college
  • Source, screen, and match candidates for open vacancies and requirements across the college
  • Build and maintain talent pools to meet future staffing needs
  • Support interviews, assessments, and onboarding processes – ensuring that all candidates have a positive experience
  • Work closely with the compliance officer to meet safeguarding and regulatory standards
  • Assist the Account Manager with planning and recruitment campaigns

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and confident communicator
  • Proven ability to build rapport quickly
  • Experience in Recruitment, Resourcing or HR Administration (agency, in-house, or education)
  • Skilled in managing multiple vacancies and priorities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience in the Further Education or education sector
  • Understanding of safeguarding and compliance in education
  • Background in account coordination or client-facing roles
  • Outgoing and approachable, with a natural flair for connecting with people
  • Resilient and adaptable under pressure
