The Recruitment Intern will gain experience in the day-to-day functions of recruitment as well as other more general areas of HR. The intern will be exposed to a very diverse and dynamic company and will be encouraged to help define better ways of maintaining and distributing human resource information.
Job Responsibility:
Processing applications and sending correspondences
Posting job descriptions and creating a recruiting history
Conducting telephone and personal interviews
Interacting with potential employees regarding their application
Updating HR information and files
Sending reference checks
Completing paperwork for new hires, transfers, and separated employees
Attend recruiting events representing Sandhills
Assist coordination of volunteer activities
Assume other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment
