Due to a significant contract win and continued growth across the business, we’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Recruitment Advisor to join us on a 3–6 month interim basis. This is a high-volume, fast-paced and largely administrative recruitment support role, focused on keeping hiring activity moving efficiently across operational and field-based positions. The role is transactional in nature, with a strong emphasis on coordination, process management, and delivering a smooth candidate journey through to onboarding handover. We need someone who can hit the ground running, manage multiple live vacancies, and provide consistent, high-quality administrative support to the recruitment team—ensuring a seamless journey from application through to offer and transition into onboarding. Based in Derby, you’ll work closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and the HR onboarding team to ensure recruitment activity runs efficiently and candidates are handed over smoothly and accurately.
Job Responsibility
Provide end-to-end administrative support across the recruitment process
Coordinate and schedule interviews, managing all logistics and confirmations
Screen CVs and conduct initial telephone checks where required
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across ATS and recruitment trackers
Act as a key contact for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring clear and timely communication
Manage multiple vacancies at pace, keeping workflows organised and progressing
Prepare and issue offers, ensuring all details are accurate and aligned
Complete all pre-onboarding recruitment activity to ensure a smooth and accurate handover to the HR onboarding team
Track candidate progress and maintain momentum through to onboarding transition
Support advert posting and candidate sourcing activity where required
Build short-term pipelines to support ongoing demand
Work collaboratively with recruitment and onboarding teams to manage priorities and urgent requirements
Deliver a professional, efficient, and well-managed candidate experience
Requirements
Immediately available and ready to start
Previous experience in a high-volume, process-driven recruitment or resourcing coordination role
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment
Experience coordinating interviews and managing recruitment workflows
Comfortable handling high volumes of transactional activity with accuracy and consistency
Experience using ATS systems, job boards, and recruitment tools
Strong communication skills with a responsive, organised approach
A hands-on, team-focused mindset with a willingness to support across the team
Ability to ensure a smooth and efficient transition from recruitment into onboarding
Nice to have
Recruitment experience within telecoms, engineering, construction, utilities, logistics, or operational environments
Experience supporting hiring for field-based or blue-collar roles such as Engineers, Operatives, Supervisors, or Coordinators
