Job Description

CER Education Recruitment (part of the Affiniry Workforce Solutions Group) are a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools. We have an exciting opportunity to add to our high-performing team, specialising in SEN Recruitment. You will join a small but exciting team, with fantastic collaborative links with wider regional teams in Darlington and Newcastle. CER have a fantastic reputation, coupled with great market-presence, which will allow the successful applicant to have the opportunity to really grow and develop with the business. We are therefore seeking an ambitious, and pro-active individual to further increase our market-share and to continue our first-class delivery of specialist Educators and Support Staff to support schools in York and surrounding areas. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for an ambitious; results-driven and customer-focused individual to join our expanding team!

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based roles
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions
  • Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business
  • Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector

  • Proactivity in candidate attraction and management and the ability to implement effective strategies to ensure that we are registering the highest-quality candidates

  • Build and maintain a strong network of candidates through market research and on-going bench management, demonstrating the ability to anticipate client needs and hiring manager preferences by delivering strong submit-to-interview and interview-to-offer ratios
  • Develop a creative and proactive recruitment strategy to identify both passive and active candidates
  • Present strong talent for open positions and overcome objections in the hiring process
  • Consult with hiring managers (clients) in final selections, compensation and recruitment processes focusing on adding value and doing what is best for the client
  • Maintain strong client and candidate relationships and satisfaction
  • Ensure weekly and monthly submit and hire goals are met
  • Update and maintain reports, such as applicant tracking system data and reports, along with other related administrative responsibilities
