As a Recruiter at Aplin, you will play a key role in delivering top talent across engineering, construction, and technical disciplines while partnering closely with Account Managers and clients.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering, construction, and technical roles
Source, screen, and qualify candidates using multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for active and future roles
Conduct in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit
Present qualified candidates to clients with well-structured summaries and insights
Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and guide candidates through the hiring process
Develop long-term relationships with candidates to understand career goals and market trends
Collaborate closely with Account Managers to understand client needs and deliver on searches efficiently
Stay up to date on market trends within engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors
Requirements:
1–5 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or a related client-facing role (agency experience preferred)
Relationship Builder: Strong ability to connect with candidates and build trust quickly
Self-Starter: Proactive and driven—comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Attention to Detail: Ability to assess resumes, identify key experience, and match candidates to roles effectively
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to influence and engage
Resilience & Drive: Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with a sense of urgency
Tech-Savvy: Experience using ATS/CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support team success
Willingness to Learn: Eager to develop knowledge in engineering and construction markets
University degree or diploma preferred
