Job Description

Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and statewide. We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our goal to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives. Our Recruitment Operations Team provides expertise and operational support to the extended internal hiring manager network to ensure that Austin Health is well positioned to attract key talent. Spanning talent acquisition activities as well as first level HR support, the team is an important interface to ensure positive candidate engagement and high-level service delivery. The team plays a pivotal role in delivering support services to managers in a range of activities in the recruitment and employment lifecycle, primarily as it relates to creation of job requisitions, job advertising, application of the Recruitment Policy & Guidelines, visa and immigration requirements, employment contract generation and new hire onboarding.

Job Responsibility

  • Support recruitment requests and HRIS transactions
  • Review and post job advertisements that reflect Austin Health’s brand and attract the right talent
  • Manage recruitment campaigns and coordinate advertising strategy
  • Prepare employment contracts and ensure consistency with the Enterprise Agreement
  • Assist in onboarding processes and contribute to process improvements
  • Coach hiring managers on best practice recruitment and compliance
  • Provide customer service support
  • Support audits and compliance checks with accurate record keeping
