Knight Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced and dedicated Recruiting Manager to lead a team of Technical Recruiters tasked with identifying, screening, and hiring qualified individuals to support a wide variety of government and military-centered programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in the government, defense, or technology industries and will have expertise in recruiting tools, techniques, and best practices. The Recruiting Manager will have experience leading diverse teams and must be an effective communicator both internally within Knight Federal Solutions as well as with external stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Lead a team of Technical Recruiters tasked with identifying, screening, and hiring qualified individuals to support a wide variety of government and military-centered programs
Make recommendations and decisions to enhance the Recruiting Team’s capabilities
Measure the performance of team members based on real-time metrics and key performance indicators
Manage staffing requirements and make decisions to ensure requirements are satisfied adequately and in a timely manner
Maintain and update key departmental processes and desktop procedures
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in a position focused on recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition (experience within the defense, military, or government industries is highly preferred)
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Technology-related field (Bachelor Degree can be substituted for relevant industry or military experience)
2+ years of experience in a Lead or Managerial position specifically related to Talent Acquisition or military/government related programs
Experience utilizing job search tools, reviewing resumes and job applications, and conducting virtual and in-person interviews
Nice to have:
Knowledge of government agencies, programs and military structure and hierarchy
Knowledge of Security Clearances and associated processes
Experience in creating and utilizing Boolean searches as a means of identifying and vetting potential candidates
Proven experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and making recommendations on tools and techniques to automate and enhance recruiting capabilities
Experience tracking performance and conducting performance reviews based on real-time data and metrics
