X-Bow Systems is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Recruiting Intern to support our Engineering team with sourcing, phone screens, and interview coordination. This role is ideal for someone pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or HR, with a strong interest in engineering and recruiting. As an Engineering Recruiting Intern, you will play a key role in identifying top engineering talent, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process. To succeed in this role, you must have a foundational understanding of engineering concepts and terminology to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers.
Job Responsibility:
Sourcing Engineering Talent: Identify and engage with engineering candidates through various sourcing methods, including job boards, LinkedIn, and networking
Screen resumes to match candidates with engineering roles and requirements
Phone Screens: Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and alignment with the engineering team's needs
Communicate effectively using engineering language to evaluate candidates' qualifications
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between engineering candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless experience for all parties
Provide timely updates to candidates and hiring teams throughout the process
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain and update candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with engineering hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide timely support
Assist in creating job descriptions and recruitment strategies tailored to engineering roles
Administrative Support: Prepare reports and track recruitment metrics related to engineering hiring
Organize recruitment-related data in SharePoint for accessibility and accuracy
Requirements:
Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or HR
Strong interest in engineering and recruiting, with the ability to speak and understand engineering language
1-2 years of experience in recruitment coordination or a related role is preferred
Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with interview scheduling and coordination
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with SharePoint for data management is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, demonstrating a self-starter attitude
