As the first Recruiting Coordinator at Serval, you’ll power the engine behind our hiring velocity. You’ll own the coordination and candidate experience that enables us to attract top talent building the future of AI-driven IT automation. This role is critical to ensuring every candidate interaction reflects Serval’s high standards, speed, and clarity as we scale.
Job Responsibility:
Own interview scheduling end-to-end, coordinating across candidates and hiring teams to keep processes moving quickly and smoothly
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear, timely communication and thoughtful touchpoints
Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to manage pipelines, track progress, and remove bottlenecks
Maintain accurate data in our ATS and ensure recruiting operations are organized, efficient, and scalable
Continuously improve coordination workflows and identify opportunities to increase speed and efficiency
Requirements:
1+ years of recruiting coordination or talent operations experience in a fast-paced environment (startup or high-growth company preferred)
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a candidate-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly as hiring needs shift
Comfort working with ATS systems and scheduling tools
highly proficient with Google Workspace, Ashby or similar tools
Nice to have:
Experience supporting technical or engineering hiring
Background at an early-stage or venture-backed startup
Experience improving recruiting processes or implementing coordination best practices
