Job Description

The People Team at Notion exists to help build a generational company - one that enables people to do their best and most meaningful work. Hiring exceptional talent, at the right time and with care, is central to that mission. We’re looking for our first Recruiting Coordinator in our Sydney office to help build the foundation for hiring operations in Sydney and partner closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to create a thoughtful, well-run, and genuinely human candidate experience. This role sits at the center of our hiring process and plays an important role in how candidates experience Notion.

Job Responsibility

  • Create a candidate experience that reflects Notion
  • Coordinate interviews with care and precision
  • Build strong recruiting foundations

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination or interview scheduling, ideally in a high-volume environment
  • Experience supporting both technical and non-technical roles, including remote and in-person interview scheduling
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills - you’re proactive, reliable, and thoughtful about details
  • A steady, calm approach in fast-moving environments
  • Clear, kind, and professional communication skills - you’ll represent Notion to a large and diverse group of candidates
  • You don’t need to be an AI expert, but you’re curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results

Nice to have

  • Experience with Ashby and Workday
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
