Green Corps is searching for a Recruiter to join our team and help us identify and recruit environmental organizers. Green Corps is a unique training program that gives passionate aspiring environmental organizers the skills and experience they need to tackle our country’s biggest environmental challenges. The Recruiter will work with Green Corps leadership to recruit and hire the next generation of environmental leaders to join our program.

Job Responsibility:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Work with Green Corps staff to plan, coordinate, and carry out comprehensive strategies to identify top candidates for our program
  • Candidate Outreach and Screening: Identify top candidates through in-person and online outreach, review applications, conduct interviews and recommend hiring decisions
  • Networking: Develop strategic relationships with partner organizations and universities and serve as the public face for our recruitment efforts at conferences, career panels and job forums
  • Tracking and Data Analysis: Manage our tracking and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Communications: Manage candidate communications
  • Fundraising and Leadership Development: Participate in fundraising tactics like writing donor letters, helping with fundraising events, and individual fundraising meetings
  • Run a grassroots campaign office in the summer

  • A good writer and an articulate spokesperson for our organization
  • Passionate about our campaigns and about building a strong and enduring institution to achieve long-term social change
  • Not a glory seeker
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities, manage and drive projects involving multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate grace under pressure
  • Motivated by taking on more responsibility
  • At least one year of grassroots organizing, recruiting or other relevant experience
