We are looking for a detail-oriented Recruiter to support recruitment operations and coordination in New York. This contract position is ideal for someone who can balance candidate-facing communication with accurate system administration and reporting. The role will help keep recruiting processes organized, compliant, and efficient while partnering with HR and recruiting teams to support a smooth experience from requisition setup through onboarding.
Job Responsibility
Manage job postings and requisition records within the applicant tracking system, keeping information current and accurate
Track applicants throughout each stage of the recruitment process and update workflow statuses in a timely manner
Coordinate interviews and assessments, including scheduling logistics and communication with candidates and internal stakeholders
Send recruiting-related correspondence such as interview invitations, status updates, and disposition notices
Support pre-employment activities, including background screening coordination and preparation for onboarding
Maintain HR and employee data across internal systems, including updates related to position changes and benefits information
Review system records, identify inconsistencies, and resolve data issues or escalate technical concerns when necessary
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support recruiting operations, compliance needs, and basic workforce analytics
Assist with system testing, feature enhancements, integrations, and workflow improvement efforts in partnership with HR and operational teams
Help ensure recruiting and HR processes follow company standards, employment policies, and data privacy requirements
Requirements
3+ years of experience in recruiting, recruiting coordination, or HR operations support
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing and candidate management
Background in corporate recruiting and support for high-volume hiring environments
Proficiency working in applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate recruitment data
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling, communications, and multiple open activities at once
Experience creating reports and using data to support recruiting operations or process improvements
Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented candidate-facing approach
Familiarity with compliance standards, confidential data handling, and privacy-related best practices
