We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team in Rochester, New York, on a Contract to permanent employment basis. This role focuses on sourcing and interviewing candidates to meet staffing needs while also contributing to light administrative tasks. Job Responsibility:
Conduct interviews with 10-15 candidates per week to assess their qualifications and suitability for open positions
Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, networking, and applicant tracking systems
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
Perform phone screenings to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and suitability for roles
Utilize applicant tracking systems to manage candidate information and streamline recruitment processes
Handle light administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies and maintaining general office organization
Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and procedures throughout the hiring process
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to enhance the recruitment experience
Monitor recruitment metrics to track progress and improve efficiency
Stay updated on industry trends to implement best practices in recruitment
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment, preferably in high-volume hiring environments
Proven expertise in sourcing candidates through multiple channels, including job boards and networks focused on attention to detail
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems to manage recruitment workflows
Strong ability to conduct phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications effectively
Excellent administrative skills to support additional office tasks as needed
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for candidate engagement
Meticulous approach to maintain accurate recruitment records and compliance
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
