Job Description

We are looking for an experienced part-time Recruiter to support a mission-driven non-profit organization in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will lead end-to-end hiring across a diverse set of roles, partnering closely with managers and team members in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting judgment, can move comfortably between strategy and administration, and builds credibility quickly with stakeholders while supporting the organization’s continued growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for multiple openings at once, from kickoff discussions through offer coordination and onboarding support
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role needs, align on candidate profiles, and create effective hiring plans for a range of business functions
  • Source and engage talent through channels such as LinkedIn and Indeed to build strong pipelines for active and upcoming positions
  • Coordinate and participate in intake meetings and onsite interviews to ensure a well-organized, consistent candidate experience
  • Manage recruiting operations and documentation, including applicant tracking updates, interview scheduling, communications, and other administrative tasks tied to each search
  • Support hiring for varied roles such as external relations, information technology, copywriting, data analysis, administrative support, and future marketing team positions
  • Develop trusted relationships with leaders and team members by communicating clearly, setting expectations, and helping move searches forward efficiently
  • Contribute to staffing efforts tied to backfill needs as well as planned team expansion initiatives within the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle or corporate recruiting, with the ability to manage searches from initial intake through final hiring steps
  • Proven success recruiting across a broad range of position types rather than working within a single specialty area
  • Strong sourcing capability using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed to identify and attract suitable candidates
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate recruiting records and workflow activity
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with hiring leaders, interview teams, and cross-functional partners in a lean, team-oriented environment
  • Skilled at building rapport quickly and establishing trust with stakeholders and candidates alike
  • Comfortable balancing strategic recruiting responsibilities with detailed administrative follow-through
  • Interest in supporting a mission-focused non-profit organization and contributing as a collaborative team member
