We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will focus on identifying, interviewing, and evaluating candidates to meet organizational hiring needs and build a strong talent pipeline. You will play a vital part in promoting career opportunities and aligning recruitment strategies with business goals.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct candidate sourcing through various channels, including networking, referrals, and online platforms
Screen and interview applicants to determine their qualifications and suitability for specific roles
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop recruitment plans
Manage and maintain applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping
Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies
Utilize negotiation skills to extend offers and secure top talent
Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with business objectives and workforce planning
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve recruitment efforts
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
Participate in onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent training is required
2+ years of recruiting experience ideally in skilled labor roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration
Familiarity with hiring practices and legal policies related to recruitment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications
Basic knowledge of strategic planning and business management principles
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships and networking
