We are looking for a Recruiter to join our team in Liberty, Texas for an onsite Contract position. This contract assignment is expected to last about two months. The person in this role will help support a fast-moving hiring effort for manufacturing and general labor positions by managing candidate flow, coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate recruitment records. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a plant-focused environment and can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time.
Job Responsibility
Review incoming applications and resumes to identify candidates with experience in manufacturing and general labor openings
Reach out to applicants by phone to confirm availability, discuss compensation, evaluate communication skills, and gauge interest in the role
Arrange interviews between shortlisted candidates and hiring teams while ensuring schedules and details are communicated clearly
Track candidate activity, hiring progress, and interview outcomes accurately within the recruitment system
Partner with hiring managers to collect feedback promptly and move candidates efficiently through the selection process
Support high-volume hiring needs across multiple operational departments within a large onsite facility
Use job advertisements and community workforce channels to build candidate pipelines for current openings
Assist with offer communication when needed and help maintain momentum during periods of increased hiring demand
Requirements
2-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, skilled trades, or other industrial environments
Ability to manage a high volume of resumes, interviews, and candidate updates in a fast-paced setting
Experience with sourcing candidates through job postings, workforce agencies, or similar talent channels
Strong administrative skills with careful attention to documentation and applicant tracking
Confidence interacting with hourly and blue-collar candidates in a respectful and approachable manner
Ability to begin work quickly and operate effectively with limited training or oversight
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
experience with Paycom is helpful but not required
