Job Description

AvantStay delivers world class, authentic, tech-enabled short-term rental (“STR”) group experiences targeted at the millennial generation. We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry. We deliver a customized end-to-end experience that is tailored just for groups and powered with technology at every layer. We're looking for a high-capacity, tech-forward Recruiter to join our People & Talent team and help scale hiring across both our corporate functions and field operations in the U.S. and internationally. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves leveraging AI and modern tooling to work smarter, and is energized by the challenge of managing a high-volume, highly varied requisition load. You'll be a critical partner to hiring managers across the business, sourcing and hiring everyone from engineers and analysts at HQ to local operations talent supporting guest experience in our destination markets. If you're someone who sees recruiting as part strategy, part craft, and part systems-thinking, and you're excited about the ways AI is reshaping how great recruiters work, we want to meet you.

Job Responsibility

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for up to 40 concurrent requisitions across corporate (e.g., tech, finance, marketing, revenue, G&A) and field operations (e.g., property operations, housekeeping, maintenance) spanning U.S.-based and international hires
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, build interview scorecards, calibrate on candidates, and drive hiring decisions to close
  • Build and execute creative sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, referrals, talent communities, and AI-powered sourcing tools to generate strong, diverse pipelines
  • Leverage AI tools and automation (e.g., AI sourcing assistants, outreach personalization, screening, scheduling, ATS intelligence features) to increase speed and quality across the funnel, and proactively test and adopt new tools as the landscape evolves
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch through offer, reflecting AvantStay's hospitality-first brand
  • Maintain clean, accurate data in the ATS and report on pipeline health, funnel metrics, and time-to-fill to hiring managers and company leadership
  • Navigate the nuances of recruiting across time zones, geographies, and role types
  • Continuously iterate on playbooks, templates, and workflows to make the team faster and more effective

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience at a company that operates both corporate/HQ teams and distributed local operations teams
  • Hospitality industry experience is required (hotels, vacation rentals, restaurants, travel, or similar)
  • Comfort carrying a high requisition load (experience managing 30+ open reqs simultaneously strongly preferred)
  • Fluency and genuine enthusiasm for AI-powered recruiting tools
  • you already use them in your workflow and are excited to push further. You adapt quickly as tools evolve and are comfortable being an early adopter
  • Strong tech stack fluency: modern ATS platforms, sourcing tools, LinkedIn Recruiter, and data/reporting tools
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and able to prioritize ruthlessly in an environment with shifting needs
  • Experience recruiting across multiple countries is a strong plus
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to represent AvantStay professionally to candidates and partner effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders
