This is a hybrid role with 4 days required in the Westchester, IL office. Visits to our downtown Chicago office are expected once per month. Responsible for the recruitment and selection processes within a defined area. Support and advise hiring managers in respect of recruiting strategy and operational and tactical delivery. Create and update job descriptions and job specifications in cooperation with hiring managers. Publish job advertisements in appropriate media. Pre-selection: Filtering of candidates' applications and resumes, conducting phone screening calls, and holding initial interviews. Responsible for recruitment administration including communication with candidates, administration of applications, interview scheduling. Conduct personal interviews with hiring managers to assess the candidate’s profile (mainly regarding soft skills, company fit, attitude, aptitudes, and experience). Post-processing: Job offers including all necessary documentation and communication. Provide HR Operations team with all required information regarding a new employee. Onboarding of new employees (First Working Days). Efficiently and effectively fill vacancies according to headcount plan. Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting. Improve the company career website. Responsible for HR-Marketing projects (e.g. participation in congresses for graduates, career fairs, information sessions, mock interviews, etc.). Promote company’s reputation as 'best place to work'. Support the business with an excellent recruitment service. Be informed about the processes and projects within the HR department. Maintain and further develop a professional, service-oriented, innovative, and friendly image of the HR department as well as of Brainlab internally and externally. Salary Range 65-70k. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this job description alters your at-will employment status. Additional duties may be assigned in the discretion of Brainlab.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1-2 years of experience minimum working in Human Resources, particularly with recruiting, preferred
Knowledge of state and federal employment law
Strong understanding of business drivers and a desire to add value through strategic use of HR policies and process
Ability to see the gray in many situations, to accept it, and to independently problem-solve despite ambiguity
Superior oral and written communication skills, and ability to concisely articulate thoughts or logic path to varying levels and divisions of the organization
Personal confidence, professional maturity and flexibility to meet the ever-changing challenges of our fast-paced business
