Job Description

We are looking for a Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a manufacturing organization in Virginia. This long-term contract opportunity is suited for someone who can manage recruitment from initial sourcing through the offer stage while building strong candidate pipelines for a range of business needs. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to talent acquisition, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hiring environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including intake discussions, candidate outreach, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines by using creative sourcing methods to identify candidates with relevant experience for current and future openings
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, align on candidate profiles, and provide updates throughout the hiring process
  • Manage a high volume of requisitions while maintaining quality, responsiveness, and a positive candidate experience
  • Review resumes and conduct initial evaluations to determine fit based on experience, skills, and role requirements
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records within the applicant tracking system to support reporting and process consistency
  • Coordinate interview logistics and facilitate communication between candidates, hiring teams, and other stakeholders
  • Track recruiting activity and share hiring progress, market feedback, and pipeline insights with internal partners

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruiting across sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Background in corporate recruiting with the ability to support multiple openings at the same time
  • Experience handling high-volume hiring demands while staying organized and meeting timelines
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and maintaining accurate recruitment documentation
  • Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify and engage candidates through multiple channels
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when working with candidates and hiring managers
  • Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
