Job Description

We are looking for a Recruiter to support a high-volume hiring initiative for retail locations across the country from Torrance, California. This Contract position will focus on building stronger applicant pipelines for specialized store roles, including beauty and beverage-related sales positions. The person in this role will use creative sourcing strategies, strengthen local recruiting partnerships, and work closely with location-based HR contacts to help meet urgent staffing demands.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting activity for a fast-paced hiring project supporting multiple retail locations nationwide
  • Expand candidate pipelines by identifying and developing new community-based and online recruiting channels
  • Create, refresh, and manage job advertisements across LinkedIn and other relevant employment platforms to improve applicant flow
  • Build outreach relationships with organizations such as beauty schools and other local talent sources to attract candidates with experience in relevant roles
  • Partner with HR representatives at individual locations to align recruiting efforts with store-specific staffing priorities
  • Source candidates proactively for retail sales positions, including beauty, spirits, wine, and tobacco-related roles
  • Monitor recruiting activity and adjust outreach strategies to increase response rates and application volume
  • Participate in occasional visits to the Torrance, California office while primarily working in a remote capacity

Requirements

  • Experience recruiting for retail, sales, or high-volume hiring environments
  • Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies that increase candidate volume and improve talent reach
  • Strong knowledge of online job posting practices and candidate attraction methods
  • Comfortable building relationships with external community organizations and local recruiting sources
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed HR stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities across different locations at the same time
  • Background in Human Resources administration or recruiting operations
  • 3-5 years of sourcing specifically
