The Recruiter & HR Specialist supports Mowi’s operations by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and implementing effective staffing strategies to attract skilled and reliable talent. This role works closely with leadership to meet hiring demands in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The position also assists with onboarding and other HR activities to support overall workforce stability and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Manage full-cycle recruitment, from requisition through offer acceptance
Partner with Directors and Managers to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions and criteria
Implement effective sourcing strategies and manage job postings across platforms
Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support the interview process with hiring teams
Collaborate on offers, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and key details
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive experience
Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and maintain accurate recruiting data
Use recruiting metrics to improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes
Support onboarding and assist with general HR functions, including employee support and HR administration
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal and negotiation skills
Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies
Proactive and able to take initiative
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
Experience with ATS and platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
