Job Description

The Recruiter & HR Specialist supports Mowi’s operations by leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and implementing effective staffing strategies to attract skilled and reliable talent. This role works closely with leadership to meet hiring demands in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a seamless candidate experience. The position also assists with onboarding and other HR activities to support overall workforce stability and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from requisition through offer acceptance
  • Partner with Directors and Managers to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions and criteria
  • Implement effective sourcing strategies and manage job postings across platforms
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support the interview process with hiring teams
  • Collaborate on offers, including compensation recommendations, start dates, and key details
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a positive experience
  • Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and maintain accurate recruiting data
  • Use recruiting metrics to improve sourcing strategies and hiring outcomes
  • Support onboarding and assist with general HR functions, including employee support and HR administration
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
