Job Description:

Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreational activities. Focus on creating a fun and safe experience for guests while adhering to rules. Duties include maintaining tools and recreation facilities, assisting individuals with disabilities, managing equipment rentals, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Job Responsibility:

  • Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility
  • Observe activity in the recreational facility
  • Respond appropriately in the event of an emergency
  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests and the team
  • Process payments for services and rentals
  • Follow company policies and ensure safety standards are met

Requirements:

  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Assist guests with disabilities
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point of sale systems
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size
  • Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Perform other job duties as requested
