Job Description:

Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Chalong Bay Resort. Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as key resource for all recreation activities
Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities
Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities
Promote fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Promote rules and regulations for safety
Observe activity and respond to emergencies
Provide cashier services for point of sales transactions
Assist with hosting private functions
Identify unsafe situations and inform supervisor
Provide first aid assistance
Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment and supplies

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
Ability to process payments for rental equipment and recreation activities
Ability to read and visually verify information
Ability to visually inspect tools and equipment
Ability to use computers and point of sale systems
Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces

Nice to have:

No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
